Horizontal Slinky Geothermal Loops
Coiled polyethylene pipe is placed in engineered trenches to fit more pipe length into each run. Slinky fields can be useful when adequate open ground and excavation access are available.

Larger open lots with suitable soil, manageable restoration and enough separation from utilities, septic systems, structures and protected areas.

INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
How the field comes together
- 01
The designer sets trench count, length, depth, spacing, coil pitch, circuits and flow using the building load and local ground assumptions.
- 02
Trenches are excavated and kept safe and stable. Coils are assembled or positioned without kinks, sharp bends or damaged pipe.
- 03
Specified backfill, flushing, pressure testing and surface restoration complete the field before system commissioning.
