Ownership and term
Palmetto owns the geothermal system during the lease term; the homeowner receives use of the installed system and the program services described in the agreement. 10-year initial lease term. The dealer portal currently offers 0.00%, 0.99%, and 1.99% annual-escalator choices.
Included in the current guide
Eligible installation, full-term parts and service/repair labor, annual preventative maintenance, and monitoring where the approved system supports it.
Basic qualification
Single-family property pathway; 680 FICO base, soft credit inquiry, no debt-to-income calculation, seven-year bankruptcy lookback, and applicant on title.
Billing and next steps
ACH is required before Notice to Proceed. The current guide states the first payment is due 30 days after installation.
End of term
Renewal, purchase/buyout, return, transfer, or upgrade may be available. Exact amounts, deadlines, fees, UCC-1 treatment, and state-specific provisions require the customer agreement.
